ANACS 1979-D SBA Dollar Struck on Outer Dollar Clad Layer MS62
ANACS 1979-D Anthony dollar struck on the outer clad layer of an SBA dollar planchet.
The coin is struck on both sides, but is far thinner than a normal Anthony dollar, and has large portions of the design missing due to the weak strike.
An extremely rare error type on Anthony dollars, and we do not recall every having had one of these in stock.
MS62 with very pleasing surfaces. Sometimes this error type comes bent or mildly damaged, but this piece is in excellent condition.
